I have one channel calibrated on N2, can I use it for other gases?

Sure! In any moment you can use the K-Factor to change the gas via the Software or Touch Display.
The K-Factor is used by the software to mathematically adjust the channel calibration curve in case you need to work with gases the channels have not been calibrated for.
How to do that?
Easy: Go on “Setting” and after click on “Channel Gas Setting”.
More info at Chapter 6 on the Manual.

I cannot find the K-Factor I need. May I create one by myself?

Sure! Custom cylinder function allows you to create your new customised K-Factor. Name it, set the data and it’s done.
How to do that?
Easy: Go on “Setting” and after click on “Custom Cylinder”.
More info at Chapter 6 on the Manual.

I have one channel calibrated on pure N2, can I use it with a %, ppm or ppb cylinder?

Sure! Custom cylinder function allows you to create a no-pure gas cylinder and to calculate the correct K-Factor. After having chosen the name of your own cylinder you can set the main components and the percentages in %, ppm or ppb of the minor gases, and visualize the calculated K-Factor.
How to do that?
Easy: Go on “Setting” and after click on “Custom Cylinder”.
More info at Chapter 6 on the Manual.

Can I use corrosive gases in ppm or ppb concentration?

It depends on the concentration. Example, we can manage up to 1000 ppm di H2S. Contact us for more information.

Any MFC on the market has a cut-off between 2% and 10%. What does it mean?

If you have a full range of 500 ml/min, with a cut-off of 10% you cannot control flow-rates below than 50 ml/min.
Gas Blender 100 Series has NO CUT-OFF so you can control the flow range from 0,5 ml/min to 500 ml/min.

Are the Gas Mixers Certified?

Yes, all our instruments are CE, TUV and cTUVUS/ul certified.
